macOS 10.13.3 freezes while scanning plugins

Guys, first of all thanks for a new version of Giada! In 0.14.6 the app will freeze (macOS 10.13.3) when I initiate the plugin scan. In these cases Giada needs to be terminated via activity monitor. If there's a way to supply more robust information, please let me know.

macOS version: 10.12. I'm unable to reproduce the freeze on our machine. Unfortunately we don't have the chance to update to 10.13 right now. Could you paste here some debug output? How to enable debug messages -> here.

Unfortunately nothing is written to the log file. I was, however, able to repro the freeze on two machines so far, both running macOS 10.13.3.
