Congratulations! Giada is wonderful. Exactly what I was looking for.
I am using Giada 0.14.4 (1.0)
on Mac OS X 10.11.6 (El Captan)
I downloaded more recent versions, but they seem not to be supported by OS X El Capitan,
therefore I am using Giada 0.14.4...
PROBLEM:
When I change Input Device to anything else then (disabled) or Apple Built In Microphone
and restart Giada I get an Error Message:
Your Soundcard isn't configured correctly.
Check the configuration and restart Giada.
I am trying to change the input to my Apogee Jam Soundcard,
which works very fine in any other music app.
And... Although I configured Giada to save debug messages to standard output,
I only see file giada.conf in Directory ~User/Library/Application Support/Giada
Any ideas, what I do wrong?
Thanks

Re: Mac OS X 10.11 - Cannot change Input Device
Hi, unfortunately by reverting to 0.14.4 you are bringing back that nasty "no soundcard found" bug we fixed in 0.14.6.
I think the real issue here is why the latest version doesn't work on macOS El Capitan. Do you see any output? Does Giada just crash right away? Any feedback from the OS?
