Input keep disabling on Raspberry Pi

Post by Derby2003 » Sun Nov 24, 2019 11:19 am

Hello, I'm new here.
So I just installed Giada on my raspberry pi 3 b+ and for some reason the input keeps disabling itself when I choose an input. Everytime I choose an input and then restart Giada, it keeps going back to the disabled mode.
I'm using one of those cheap USB sound card they sell on AliExpress, and it worked fine with other recording apps, I was able to record audio in Ardour.
To give you more details, I'm using ALSA for the sound system. How can I fix this bug? Or did I do anything wrong? Are there any other alternatives that I can record into Giada?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Derby2003,
So I just installed Giada on my raspberry pi 3 b+
This is great. We always test Giada on the usual mac, win, lin combo. I'm glad it (kind of) works :)
the input keeps disabling itself when I choose an input.
Looks like this one. Could you please paste here the log output? Instructions here.

Thanks!

Yeah, that seems to be it, the Giada version that currently appears in the raspbian sources is 0.13.2. how does this package gets published? seems like it is pretty old.
