Havn't tested on linux, but not working on windows 10
Akai controllers looks very nice and could be handy for general use even without visual feedback(lighting on physical pads or buttons).
1. MPD218 Black&red reserved aesthetics of drum-pad fits perfectly with Giada.
2. I can imagine APCmini controlling 8 columns like polyphonic tracks that is not possible in Ableton

Hi,
Do MPD218 & friends support MIDI I/O? If so, they should work out of the box. Also the lightning part can be customized through the midimap files. Or am I missing something?

I think pads send standard MIDI messages On, Off, Velocity and Touch(pressure). At least it appears so under supercollider. But I can't set up with Giada. Simply nothing happens on MIDI learn. Strange . . .
