Hi,
It'd be a great feature to have some kind of script interface to giada, so the program can be extended to easily add new features, such as custom scripting for controlling things like lighting rigs alongside a performance, or more advanced bindings to devices that are to complicated to address with midi maps.

Re: Extending giada
Hi kerbingamer376,
That's a good idea and we are already thinking about it (here). Of course there are several open points to discuss, e.g: what type of scripting engine should we implement? I.e. Javascript, LUA, Python, (trying to avoid exotic or custom stuff at any cost)? What features to expose? How do other softwares do it? Any thoughts on this is appreciated.
