Live sampling - no stream linker button?

Giada 8.4

I would like to live sample audio and I followed the docs on live sampling, but I have no stream linker button as shown. I can see the meter go up on input, but no way I can get any output.

Basically how I'm connected:

Midi keyboard -> samplv1 -> giada -> system

Is there something I need to do to get the linker button?

is the stream linker button. Does this answer your question?
