32 bit win 7 atom machine?

Post by ceephis » Sun Dec 30, 2018 2:16 pm

Dear support geniuses.

I have an ASUS atom machine running windows 7 32 bit. When I try to run Giada I get an error saying it is not compatible.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there another version of the app I need?

Thanks for your help

Hi ceephis,

Nothing wrong on your side. Unfortunately there is no 32-bit version of Giada. You have to compile it yourself if you really want to run it on your machine...

You might actually find it easier to install Ubuntu Studio in dual boot mode next to your existing Windows installation and run Giada on it (along many other excellent tools). Intel Atom processors are 64-bit by nature after all.

I would like to know if there is a perspective to make it work on 32

Nope, 32-bit machines/OSes are no longer supported.
