i've been playing with giada for a few days and i'm verry happy with it so far.
what i need is a program, that:
1. lets me do live fingerdrumming and synced loop triggering. using a midi controler.
2. runs on relativly old hardware.
3. is libre software.
so far giada seems to be what i'm looking for!
things i like about giada:
general simplicity of interface! so much simple! great colour!
loop recording, this is great, really. instant looping from vinyls!
i haven't managed to crash it yet!
i've had a few little problems too:
i'll post specific bug reports too.
giada seems to be tested only with short loops, whilst longer loops work without problems, it seems like the program is designed verry much with short loops in mind.
i'm having some prolems with midi. but it dosent seems like anything serious.
so, thanks for the great program!
i suspect i may be inundating the forums with bug reports and feature requests from now on...
ewan.
i recently discovered giada, and i'm impressed!
