Say hello to Bartholomew Davenport, our new digital friend who will guide us through the art of audio recording with Giada. In this episode you'll learn how to create a live, loop-based performance with physical instruments and a couple of sample channels.
This time Richard P. Aspromonte will guide us through the perils of the legendary Action Editor, a tool used for editing actions. He will eventually lay down some 80s/90s hip hop beats using samples from the glorious "The Bridge" by MC Shan.
Featuring basic looping, one shot samples, MIDI channels, actions and VST processing. Played and recorded on Xubuntu 12.04.
In this video we want to test the new drag and drop feature introduced in version 0.9.2. No more "click here and there", please!
Testing the new pitch control introduced in version 0.8.1, based on libsamplerate and way better than the previous one. For this test we used the Amen Break, possibly the most famous sample in the hiphop/dnb/jungle scene (original record: The Winstons - Amen Brother, 1969).
